Attention!
After installation, the fault memory in the ABS ESP ECU
must always be cleared and the basic setting must be carried out!
The basic setting must be carried out after every replacement!
Basic setting ESP multiple sensor G419 with VCDS or VAS diagnostic device:
1. Connect diagnostic device, switch on ignition
2. Select address word 03 for ABS ESP.
3. Function 02 - Read fault memory, then function 05 - Clear fault memory
4. Function 08 Measured value block and display group 004 Read measured value 02 (G200) and 03 (G202), setpoint -1.5 ..+1.5
5. Function 08 Measured value block and display group 006 Read measured value 01 (G251), setpoint -1.5 ..+1.5
6. Function 11 LogIn Procedure Enter access authorization code "40168",
7. Enter and confirm function 04 basic setting and display group 063 (G200 + G202),
8. Function 11 LogIn Procedure Enter access authorization code "40168",
9. Enter function 04 basic setting and display group 069 and confirm (G251).
10 Function 06 End diagnosis.
If the setpoint for display group 004 and 006 display 2, 3, 1 is not reached,
check the ESP sensor G419 for horizontal position
check the cables and plug connections between the sensor and ESP ECU.
